A standard protein shake after the workout does one job: deliver protein. At the Eternity Infinity Bar, we wanted our shakes to do more than that, which is why every recipe is built around a small group of functional superfoods: spirulina, maca and ashwagandha. Here's the reasoning behind each one, and why it matters for your recovery.
Spirulina
Spirulina: a nutrient-dense algae known for phycocyanin and a notably complete amino acid profile for a plant-based ingredient. It also naturally contains iron and B-vitamins, which can contribute to normal energy metabolism - one of the reasons it's part of our post-workout line-up.
Maca
Maca: a traditional Andean root - Maca root has been a staple of Andean diets for centuries. We use it for its naturally malty, earthy flavour, which works well post-workout without added stimulants or a sugar spike.
Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha: rooted in tradition - Ashwagandha is a root long used in traditional Ayurvedic cooking. We include it because it fits the overall recipe and flavour profile; as with all ingredients here, we're not making claims about specific effects on stress or hormone levels.
Why this matters more after a HIIT class than after a walk
The more intense the session, the more your body's recovery window matters. After a demanding session, your body appreciates more than just protein. Combining protein with spirulina, maca and other superfoods is our way of building a well-rounded recipe for after training — not a single-ingredient fix, but a complete shake.
Not just a snack bar
We built the Infinity Bar to be an extension of your training, not an afterthought. Every shake on our menu is designed with what your body might want after a session in mind — and they taste good, too.
